Logistics and Asset Lead L3
Job Description
The Data Center Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics and asset lifecycle operations within a large-scale data center environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and operational support through close coordination with technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities

Track physical assets throughout their full lifecycle, from receipt and deployment through decommissioning, ensuring accurate tagging, labeling, and system records

Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including receiving, inspection, verification, and real-time updates to inventory systems

Conduct routine cycle counts and physical audits to maintain high inventory accuracy and proactively address discrepancies or shortages

Support data center technicians and engineers by fulfilling parts requests efficiently and maintaining organized staging areas for deployments and repairs

Coordinate with vendors on returns, replacements, warranty claims, and RMAs; support secure access for third-party deliveries and service providers

Produce inventory reports and operational metrics related to usage, aging, and asset turnover; contribute to documentation and process improvement efforts

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field

3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain functions within a technology, manufacturing, or infrastructure environment

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting or data analysis tools

Experience supporting large-scale data center, cloud, or colocation environments

Hands-on experience with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, or asset tracking tools

General understanding of IT hardware such as servers, networking, storage, and related components

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
