Job Description
Office Location: Naples, Florida - On site MON-FRI
Role Overview:
The Word Processor will perform a variety of tasks supporting the legal team, with specific duties that can evolve or expand through direction from Attorneys or the Office Administrator.
Key Duties:
- Provide backup support for the Legal Secretary team as necessary.
- Organize and assemble binders for clients containing finalized trust and estate documents.
- Prepare and format various legal documents as required.
- Assist with drafting, editing, and finalizing wills, trusts, and other related documents or correspondence.
- Handle email attachments in an organized manner as requested by legal staff.
- Assist with document formatting and scanning duties.
- Handle photocopying and mailing of correspondence, including certified mail and other delivery services such as UPS and FedEx.
- Maintain and file desk files and client documents in a timely manner.
- Participate in client signings, serving as a witness when needed.
- Provide backup support for the Receptionist during periods of absence.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Business administration degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar Word Processor role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe products.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, based on attorney requests.
- A cooperative team player.
- Salary range: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00, based on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- This is a non-exempt position, making the role eligible for overtime pay.
- Twenty-five (25) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually.
- Full-time role, requiring a 40-hour workweek.
