Key Duties:

Oversee and manage the complete estate administration process, including identifying, valuing, and distributing assets.

Draft probate filings, fiduciary accountings, and supporting documentation for both estate and trust matters.

Prepare federal and state estate tax filings.

Analyze and interpret estate planning documents such as wills and trusts to implement asset distribution and funding of trusts, in partnership with attorneys.

Conduct basic legal and procedural research using internal and external tools as needed.
What You Bring:
-
Bachelor's degree along with a paralegal certificate (or equivalent training/experience).

In-depth knowledge of probate procedures and familiarity with court and regulatory practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and PDF editing tools.

Hands-on experience with accounting and tax software, such as FastTax or ProSystems.

Ability and willingness to adopt new technology, attend training, and continuously develop skills.

Clear understanding of confidentiality requirements and client relationship dynamics.

Ability to handle multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and occasional overtime.
