Job Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, seeking an experienced paralegal to join their Trusts & Estates practice in Hartford. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in estate and trust administration, with fiduciary administration or accounting experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare probate pleadings, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.
- Assist in identifying, collecting, and valuing assets.
- Handle fiduciary accounting tasks.
- Prepare estate, gift, and income tax returns.
This role involves substantial client interaction and collaboration with attorneys. It offers a hands-on opportunity in a sophisticated, team-oriented environment. Candidates should have strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A motivated, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential.
