Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, data models, and datasets.
- Developing and administering Power BI reports and SharePoint sites.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-departmental team members to collect insights and disseminate reports and documentation.
- Possessing strong reporting and communication skills to succinctly present insights.
- Conducting critical analysis of data sets and reporting findings, including insights and discrepancies.
- Formulating and executing Transition Plans to facilitate a seamless transfer of responsibilities from project initiatives to ongoing operations.
Experience Level: Minimum of 4 years – looking for a super user of Power BI and Excelerate. Tableau experience a plus though not required. Bachelor’s degree required.
Qualifications:
- This role requires extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and all aspects of BI tools – specific to Power BI
- The position requires knowledge of Microsoft SQL database, SharePoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SQL and understanding relational databases
- This position also requires documentation experience, attention to detail, and communicating effectively across a wide range of business and technical stakeholders across all job levels
- Experience collecting user requirements and ability to understand complex business needs then translate them into BI application solutions
- Expert knowledge of Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics concepts
