Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support their team in San Francisco! 

Role Overview:
  • Build trusted, value-driven relationships with client groups, including C-level and directors.
  • Coach leaders on aligning business strategies with HR insights.
  • Partner with Talent Development to create programs in strategic planning, goal setting, leadership, team building, and diversity.
  • Provide expertise in organizational design, staffing, work processes, and reporting structures.
  • Manage staff evaluations and support managers in performance reviews, feedback, and compensation decisions.
  • Design tools to enhance recruitment, retention, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with recruiters on staffing needs and role alignment.
  • Advise on complex employee relations issues and develop strategies to resolve HR challenges.
  • Work with HR teams to implement firm-wide HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Contribute to policy development and ensure compliance with US and international laws.

About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, organizational development, or equivalent experience.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • At least 6 years of HR generalist experience, with international exposure (Asia/Europe) preferred.
  • Strongly prefer law firm experience.
  • Proven ability to align HR solutions with business needs and implement key people management processes.
  • Strong HR knowledge in performance management, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, and metrics.
  • In-depth understanding of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influence skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset, strategic thinker, and proactive approach.
  • Strong project management and confidentiality skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
