Job Description
Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support their team in San Francisco!
Role Overview:
- Build trusted, value-driven relationships with client groups, including C-level and directors.
- Coach leaders on aligning business strategies with HR insights.
- Partner with Talent Development to create programs in strategic planning, goal setting, leadership, team building, and diversity.
- Provide expertise in organizational design, staffing, work processes, and reporting structures.
- Manage staff evaluations and support managers in performance reviews, feedback, and compensation decisions.
- Design tools to enhance recruitment, retention, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with recruiters on staffing needs and role alignment.
- Advise on complex employee relations issues and develop strategies to resolve HR challenges.
- Work with HR teams to implement firm-wide HR strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute to policy development and ensure compliance with US and international laws.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, organizational development, or equivalent experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- At least 6 years of HR generalist experience, with international exposure (Asia/Europe) preferred.
- Strongly prefer law firm experience.
- Proven ability to align HR solutions with business needs and implement key people management processes.
- Strong HR knowledge in performance management, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations, and metrics.
- In-depth understanding of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influence skills.
- Problem-solving mindset, strategic thinker, and proactive approach.
- Strong project management and confidentiality skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
