Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking an End User Support Analyst to assist their team in Austin, TX! Essential Functions End User Support
  • Troubleshoots and resolves desktop application issues, leveraging knowledge bases and sharing insights with IT teams.
  • Supports hardware (PCs, Macs, peripherals, mobile devices, printers, etc.), including specialized setups.
  • Configures and maintains firm operating systems, ensuring data preservation and adherence to policies.
  • Logs and monitors technical support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Engages proactively with users to clarify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborates with application owners, analysts, and vendors for effective issue resolution.
  • Manages user accounts (creation, modification, deletion).
  • Provides desk-side and virtual training on standard and specialized hardware/software.
  • Assists with server maintenance and configuration following firm standards.
  • Adheres to change management policies for system updates.
  • Supports IT projects, including travel to other offices when needed.
  • Participates in on-call rotations, remaining reachable after hours as necessary.
  • Maintains office technology asset inventory and coordinates vendor repairs.
  • Sets up specialized function machines, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
Trial/Off-Site Support
  • Provides remote software/hardware support for meetings, trials, and other off-site activities.
  • Sets up and troubleshoots trial/off-site infrastructure (routers, switches, servers).
Conference Room & Hardware Support
  • Manages conference room technology requests, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Coordinates video/audio conferences, offering user support as needed.
  • Ensures smooth technology setup for new hires and office relocations.
  • Oversees hardware upgrades, tracking progress and communicating with users.
Knowledge & Professional Development
  • Stays updated on IT and legal industry trends.
  • Maintains expertise in firm software, hardware, and business practices.
  • Participates in team meetings and professional peer groups.
Client Service, Confidentiality & Safety
  • Upholds the Firm’s Client Service Principles in all interactions.
  • Ensures compliance with confidentiality policies and reports any breaches.
  • Follows firm and department-specific safety protocols.
  • Education & Experience
  • College coursework in Information Systems Technology preferred.
  • Five years of PC experience with hardware/software knowledge and LAN/WAN/server concepts.
  • Strong Windows OS proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant certifications highly desirable.
  • Experience in law firms or professional services preferred
Education & Experience
  • College coursework in Information Systems Technology preferred.
  • Five years of PC experience with hardware/software knowledge and LAN/WAN/server concepts.
  • Strong Windows OS proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant certifications highly desirable.
