Job Description

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a DMS Administrator to support their team! 
ROLES AND DUTIES

· Serve as the primary expert on DMS applications, overseeing requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, integration, and deployment.

· Function as the specialist in infrastructure and networking for all DMS components.

· Monitor the performance and stability of all elements within the DMS environment.

· Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise with DMS applications.

· Create, assess, and run diagnostic and update scripts to tackle specific problems effectively.

· Generate and execute queries to extract information upon request from application administrators or Firm Management.

· Coordinate the establishment of backup and recovery strategies for all DMS databases in line with Firm standards.

· Collaborate with the DBA to manage and oversee access to databases by designing and implementing security measures.

· Document and keep up-to-date records of all DMS applications, associated components, and users. This includes analyzing updates and upgrades, providing recommendations for implementation.

· Assist application administrators in developing processes and procedures to streamline administrative tasks (such as document archiving, personnel renaming, etc.).

· Engage with iManage and other relevant vendors as necessary to address issues.

· Provide support outside regular hours as required.

· Perform other assigned duties as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in DMS implementation, engineering, and administration with IManage

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related work experience

· A minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Windows Server Environment

· A minimum of 3 years of SQL Server experience

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Good judgment

· Strong interpersonal communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others

· Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion

· Able to work under pressure
