Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Lead complex technical projects across multiple departments, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.

Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process discovery, project planning, execution, and post-launch support.

Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and internal/external technology teams.

Create detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support development efforts.

Drive Agile/Hybrid methodologies—conduct sprint planning, facilitate daily stand-ups, and lead retrospectives.

Own and manage the JIRA environment as the central platform for task tracking and project visibility.

Analyze data to inform decision-making and support process optimization efforts.

Lead testing efforts including test planning, execution, and quality assurance.

Support training and change management efforts to ensure seamless solution adoption.

Coordinate with vendor partners and manage third-party resources when required.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in a project leadership role within IT or Business Services, including oversight of internal teams and vendors.

At least 3 years of experience managing Agile or hybrid project environments; experience acting as a Product Owner a plus.

Advanced proficiency with JIRA for project tracking and team management.

Strong facilitator, with the ability to lead Agile ceremonies and coach teams on Agile best practices.

Proven track record in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen); certifications preferred.

Strong foundation in core project management principles (scoping, estimation, scheduling, risk management, change control).

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Experience influencing performance standards and fostering high-performing teams.

Comfortable leading business transformation efforts involving technology, process, culture, and organizational change.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Certifications & Experience

Scrum Master, PMP, Lean Six Sigma certifications strongly preferred

Experience implementing or transitioning to legal e-billing platforms
-
ITIL certification is a plus
-
Prior experience in a mid-to-large law firm is highly desirable
