  • Build and manage your own book of business, with accountability for individual revenue and gross profit goals.

  • Win new clients through consistent prospecting, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.

  • Develop relationships with technology leaders, hiring managers, and other decision-makers to uncover direct hire, contract, and project staffing opportunities.

  • Manage, coach, and develop technical recruiters through regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, and practical training.

  • Set clear expectations for activity, candidate quality, placements, and revenue. Address performance gaps promptly.

  • Help recruiters prioritize searches, strengthen screening and submissions, and improve interview-to-placement results.

  • Coach the team to turn candidate conversations, referrals, and market intelligence into business development opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate activity, client feedback, and pipeline data in Bullhorn. Use reporting to guide decisions and forecasts.

  • Partner with leadership on division strategy, internal hiring, and profitable growth.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years of recent staffing agency industry experience, with a strong background in IT staffing. Five or more years of total agency experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated success generating your own business, winning new accounts, and consistently producing revenue.

  • Prior experience managing recruiters, including coaching, goal setting, and performance accountability.

  • Experience balancing an active production desk with team leadership responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of technology roles and the recruiting process, with the ability to speak credibly with clients and candidates.

  • Strong prospecting, consultative sales, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Experience using an ATS/CRM and performance reporting tools. Bullhorn experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule from our Manhattan office.

The Opportunity

Take an active role in shaping an IT division within a boutique firm. You will work closely with leadership, influence how the team grows, and use tools including Bullhorn, Bullhorn Analytics, and Amplify to support your work.

Success will be measured by your personal production, new client wins, account growth, team placements, and division profitability.
