Job Description
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Design, implement, and maintain critical infrastructure services covering networking, operating systems, and security policies.
- Enhance security frameworks supporting investment initiatives and technological advancements.
- Contribute to the development and integration of infrastructure systems, primarily focusing on Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues at host and network levels, employing deep diagnostic skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operations.
- Participate in automating build, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills:
- Over 10 years of proven experience in Linux systems engineering or related fields.
- Extensive Python programming experience.
- Deep knowledge of Linux OS and configuration management.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across host and network layers.
- Familiarity with automated build, deployment, and CI/CD systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Rust, Java, C, Go, or C#.
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and Kerberos.
- Working familiarity with network protocols, security concepts, databases, and large-scale storage solutions.
- Experience with Windows/Linux interoperability.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering roles.
