Major Responsibilities and Activities

* Responsible for various network hardware/software but biased towards the Windows VMWare/Citrix environments

* Provide trouble shooting and assisting help desk support group in resolving level 3 issues

* Monitor and provide statistical reports on the health and operational status of all infrastructure systems; monitor system capacity utilization

* Diagnose and perform remedial actions within area of Subject Matter Expertise

* Aid in capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure that Infrastructure systems are meeting the needs of the business

* Assist with various data management activities like system backups, restores, exports and imports and archiving


Minimum Requirements


* Requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working within an IT infrastructure group, preferably

* Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks with accuracy and to meet demanding deadlines, possessing strong ethics and the ability to maintain confidentiality

* Extensive experience planning, designing, deploying, and maintaining, Windows Server experience with Microsoft Back Office applications to include Windows server 2012, Exchange servers, SharePoint, Active Directory, Office 365, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP and remote access

* Advanced Active Directory experience is required such as group rights, file rights management, GPOs

* Strong systems administration/engineering skills in a large heterogeneous environment

* Experience building, migrating and supporting Citrix NetScaler

* Experience monitoring overall health of systems

* Root Cause analysis experience is required

* Extensive experience with Windows Server and Windows Client platforms; experience in Windows Clustering in a stretch datacenter configuration is preferred

* Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange Server and Symantec Electronic Vault Archive

* Experience with VMware 4.x and 5.x, including installing, upgrading and managing across both platforms

* SAN Administration with EMC SAN experience utilizing VPlex with Cisco OTV for active active sites

* Must maintain a sincere, polite and respectful customer service attitude when working with the business

* Possess the ability to work with the application development team to provide solutions to users

* Ability to support multiple globally dispersed locations

* Microsoft SCCM and SCOM required

* Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills


Beneficial Skills and Abilities


* Previous Citrix experience is desirable

* Cisco Switch/Router/Wireless working knowledge is desired

* VOiP Phone system administration

* MCSE Certification

* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases

* Working experience with Apple computers

* Scripting
