Job Description
What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Support and maintain a broad spectrum of systems including Windows desktops and servers, Linux/UNIX environments, and mobile devices
- Manage and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance
- Implement automation solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Oversee communications platforms and storage/clustered computing environments
- Collaborate with teams on projects to deploy new technologies and enhance existing systems
- Provide end-user support across deskside, remote, and phone channels, helping users leverage technology effectively
Required Skills:
- Solid experience with Windows enterprise environments and common applications such as Microsoft Office
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across diverse systems
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration
- Familiarity with virtualization, storage solutions, and automation tools
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with a talent for research and continuous learning
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash scripting, or automation frameworks
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, security protocols, and endpoint management
- Prior experience supporting enterprise communications platforms
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of systems administration experience in a corporate or enterprise setting
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Linux certifications
