Job Description
Our client, a full service accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team in Armonk, NY!

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and committed to providing high-quality accounting and tax services. Strong research, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills are essential.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work Tuesday–Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of partnership, corporate, and personal tax returns for senior review.
- Developing work papers and analyses for income tax preparation.
- Filing quarterly payroll and sales tax returns, as well as estimated tax payments.
- Assist senior accountants during tax audits and issue resolution.
- Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work with clients on accounting and tax-related matters.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and month-end closing.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounting and tax preparation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts (general ledger, journal entries, P&L).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to troubleshoot client accounting issues.
