Sr Full Stack Engineer
Fully Remote or SF in person

Role Overview: As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be at the forefront of building features that transform how software teams work together. You will take ownership of significant projects, rapidly turning ideas into production-ready solutions. Your work will have a direct impact on our users and the overall success of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feature Development: Design, develop, and deploy new features that improve how software teams communicate bugs. You will work from concept to production, delivering impactful features within weeks.

  • Code Quality: Write maintainable and efficient code while balancing speed with quality. Emphasize best practices to ensure the longevity and stability of our codebase.

  • User Impact: Engage directly with user feedback to guide your development process. Often, you'll see the immediate need for features through user requests and feedback.

  • Business Impact: Contribute to critical projects that affect the company’s bottom line. You'll be able to track and measure the direct impact of your work through key metrics.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure cohesive and well-integrated solutions.

You’re Good At:

  • Problem-Solving: Effectively diagnose and address technical challenges. Communicate complex issues and solutions clearly across teams.

  • Strategic Thinking: Understand how individual contributions fit into the larger product vision and user experience. Make informed decisions that align with overall product goals.

  • Prioritization: Manage fast-paced development cycles while maintaining high standards for code quality and feature functionality.

Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React with Styled Components for building dynamic user interfaces.

  • TypeScript: Used throughout the stack for robust type safety in the extension, web application, and backend services.

  • GraphQL: Implement and manage API endpoints using GraphQL for efficient data querying and manipulation.

  • State Management: Employ MobX with MobX State Tree for managing and synchronizing application state, particularly within the Chrome extension.

  • Cloud Services: Utilize Cloudflare for security and performance, including Workers, DDoS protection, Firewall, and CDN.

  • Backend: Develop backend services using Node.js, with data storage and caching through PostgreSQL and Redis, hosted on Google Cloud and managed via Kubernetes.

  • Version Control & CI/CD: Leverage GitHub for source control and continuous integration, including linting, testing, building, and deployment processes.

  • Issue Tracking & Communication: Use Linear for tracking issues, and Slack and Notion for internal team communication. Participate in on-call rotations managed through PagerDuty.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record with 5+ years of full-stack development experience, demonstrating expertise in the technologies mentioned above.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, MobX, and cloud-based infrastructure. Experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes is essential.

  • Communication: Strong ability to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Problem-Solving: Skilled in addressing complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range- $180,000-$220,000 depending on experience and location
