Job Description:
- Responsible for ensuring the robustness of regression testing methods, scripts, operational tracking, and issue resolution for critical applications deployed across the firm.
- Lead the design, implementation, integration, deployment, and ongoing support of new Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) desktop and server applications tailored for business needs.
- Ensure seamless testing, implementation, and transition to a stable production environment.
- Serve as a technical analyst with expertise in orchestrating complex, multi-phase server application integration and implementation projects, collaborating across departments and managing diverse resources.
- Develop comprehensive engineering specifications and documentation as required.
- Effectively communicate project status and essential business insights to both senior management and internal stakeholders.
- Provide advanced, third-level escalation support for the department's software service catalog.
- Act as the primary System Engineer for business-facing desktop and server applications, including the seamless handover of responsibilities to Desktop Engineers.
- Uphold and implement industry best practices through a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology encompassing software design, development, testing, and deployment on server applications.
Experience:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or possess relevant business experience.
- Previous exposure to iManage or similar Document Management Systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Intapp product suite is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency across:
- Current Microsoft operating systems
- Windows configuration, analysis, and engineering
- Network connectivity and analysis
- Software configuration, analysis, and implementation
- Microsoft Office desktop environment administration, architecture, suite dependencies, features, and operational support
- Document Management application methods, including third-party integrations
- SQL database environments, with basic knowledge of SQL syntax, queries, and database structures
- Legal Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications
- Ability to define project scopes and objectives based on business requirements.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt seamlessly to shifting demands.
- Strong service orientation and adeptness in cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with peers, management, system users, and other departmental stakeholders.
