Job Description


As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the top technical resource for complex network issues, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration, and Azure networking challenges. You'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructures in line with industry standards and best practices.

You will work with a dedicated team of technical experts who are passionate about innovation and growth, contributing to the success of our clients, your team, and your career.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex networking, AVD, and Azure-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve critical network incidents, offering expert solutions for advanced networking problems.
  • Collaborate with junior engineers and support teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Oversee the Azure Virtual Desktop environment to ensure performance and security optimization.
  • Design and manage Azure networking solutions, including Virtual Networks, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring network issues and implement long-term resolutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Utilize tools like Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and Azure Security Center to monitor network performance and security.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.
  • Collaborate with network architects to implement scalable and resilient network infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure network security and performance align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on networking, AVD, and Azure topics.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to improve network infrastructure.
  • Assist with capacity planning and optimizing network infrastructure for business growth.

Required Experience/Skills
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLAN configuration, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with peripheral devices, network printers, scanners, etc.
  • Knowledge of antivirus and malware protection solutions.
  • Experience with backup technologies (e.g., Acronis, ShadowProtect).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of SentinelOne, Acronis, Dropsuite, and related tools.
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016).
  • Experience managing cloud computing infrastructure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki devices.

Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Experience with tools like ConnectWise Automate and Control, Auvik, and ESET Security Management Console.
  • Experience with VLAN configuration, server builds, and troubleshooting virtualized environments like VMware and Hyper-V.
