Job Description

Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and industry best practices. The role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and custom application development, to deliver high-quality solutions that support organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow platform components, including custom applications, workflows, integrations, and UI customization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement and manage ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management within ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using APIs, MID servers, and other integration tools.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and security by implementing best practices and conducting regular system audits.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective platform utilization.
  • Perform upgrades and patch management to keep the platform up-to-date and secure.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize system downtime.
