Senior Technology Trainer
Job Description
Senior Technology Trainer will elevate how legal and administrative teams adopt modern productivity, document, and AI-assisted workflows—through enterprise-wide enablement, targeted learning, and support-driven improvements across a fast-paced professional services environment.
Role Overview
Own and continuously improve organization-wide training programs that enable attorneys and business professionals to use core productivity, document management, and technology workflows effectively. Deliver advanced instruction, onboard new users on firm applications and operational procedures, and identify learning needs using real support and performance trends to drive measurable adoption and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously refine enterprise-wide learning programs for legal and administrative professionals, ensuring consistent enablement across the organization
- Deliver advanced training on productivity platforms, AI-assisted tools, document management systems, and legal-practice technology workflows
- Onboard incoming attorneys and business professionals on firm applications, systems, and operational procedures
- Facilitate training across multiple modalities—including classroom, virtual, one-on-one, and point-of-need—tailored to the audience
- Develop and run specialized skill-building sessions and recurring learning forums based on identified knowledge gaps
- Proactively assess knowledge and performance gaps and translate them into actionable learning solutions
- Partner with attorneys and operational managers to diagnose individual and team-level learning needs, then deliver targeted interventions and follow-through
- Advocate for improvements to instructional approaches, processes, and reference documentation
- Build, customize, and maintain proprietary training materials and firm-standard reference documentation
- Adapt third-party vendor content to meet internal standards, workflows, and learning objectives
- Produce and manage learning content across formats such as curricula/course frameworks, workbooks/guides/practice exercises, quick reference tools, video tutorials, eLearning modules, and knowledge assessments
- Log, route, and track support requests through the firm’s ticketing platform to drive timely resolution
- Monitor support ticket patterns to identify recurring issues and convert them into training opportunities
Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AI productivity tools, and PDF authoring software
- Practical experience working with firm-specific document templates and legal workflow tools
- Working knowledge of enterprise document management platforms and legal technology ecosystems
- Polished, approachable presence with the ability to create an energized, positive learning environment
- Clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
- Strong judgment on when to escalate issues versus resolve independently
- Ability to manage concurrent initiatives while aligning training outcomes to broader business objectives
- Willingness to travel between office locations as needed
- Availability to support training needs outside standard business hours
