Job Description

Our client is a finance/technology firm that is looking for a Senior Software engineer to join their team. This role would build and develop low latency, distributed systems, and data processing pipelines for the Data Technology group.

Qualifications

-4+ years designing and implementing full stack software applications using python or another backend language

-Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns

-Knowledge of AWS

-Experience with Microservices and distributed systems.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Understanding of Big Data Technologies

-Familiarity with queuing and caching technologies

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of projects and apply ML techniques to fuel the products. You will develop solutions using Microservices open source technology, leveraging big data technologies.
