Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support, maintenance, and training for Salesforce users.

  • Perform ongoing administration, including account/profile setup, page layouts, custom reports, dashboards, and list views.

  • Configure and maintain sharing rules, permission sets, field-level and record-level security, roles, and profiles.

  • Monitor and improve data quality through ongoing audits, deduplication, and maintenance.

  • Assess and implement new Salesforce releases and AppExchange solutions.

  • Create audit processes to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance.

  • Deliver results across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs and departmental performance.

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot approval flows and automation using Flow and Process Builder.

  • Perform data imports and cleanups using tools like Data Loader, Import Wizard, and DemandTools.

  • Plan and execute quarterly Salesforce release management activities, including stakeholder coordination.

  • Conduct regular health checks using Salesforce tools to monitor system performance, security, and scalability.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).

  • Experience configuring Salesforce features like custom objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, formula fields, validation rules, and record types.

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, including chat functionality, CTI integration, case routing, community portals, macros, and email templates.

  • Proficient in NPSP components: Household model, GAUs, recurring donations, campaigns, soft credits, rollups, and payment management.

  • Working knowledge of integrated tools such as DocuSign, Conga/Apttus CMS, and FormAssembly.

  • Strong business analysis skills: gathering requirements, estimating effort, technical documentation, and stakeholder communication.

  • Experience with Salesforce Communities and Digital Experience Builder.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce development and integration: Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, APIs, and web services.

  • Strong grasp of Salesforce ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), including DevOps tools and release management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Administrative & Development Expertise:

  • Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Flow.

  • Build custom UIs using LWC and/or Aura Components.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and third-party apps.

  • Manage application lifecycle: from planning and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

  • Use development tools including DevOps Center, Code Builder, and App Builder.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience.

  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security, and data modeling.

  • Experience researching and managing third-party applications via AppExchange.

  • Proficiency in managing Salesforce user roles, profiles, and access through SSO/MFA and security best practices.

  • Skilled in supporting marketing and communication initiatives via Salesforce campaigns and email automation.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Required certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder.

  • Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I.
