Job Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Sr. Litigation Docketing Analyst to join their team!
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
Minimum of 7 years of experience using docketing/calendaring software—CompuLaw preferred
-
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules
-
Familiarity with procedures related to USDC, state courts, and alternative dispute resolution agencies
-
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
-
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in deadline calculations and rule application
Key Responsibilities:
-
Input and manage case-related deadlines using the Firm’s electronic calendaring system
-
Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the Firm’s master litigation calendar
-
Monitor and apply updates to court rules and procedural changes
-
Calculate and format case events and deadlines in accordance with applicable rules or attorney guidance
-
Notify attorneys of upcoming critical case dates and deadlines
-
Prioritize and organize workload to meet strict time constraints
-
Conduct rule-based calendaring research to support strategic litigation planning
-
Review incoming legal documents for docketing-related deadlines
-
Respond to inquiries from attorneys and case teams regarding calendared events and applicable rules
-
Generate and distribute docketing reports to assist legal teams
