An innovative professional services organization within the legal industry is seeking a talented Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator to lead full-cycle attorney recruitment efforts, streamline sourcing strategies, and support operational and compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to own and shape legal talent acquisition processes, driving strategic initiatives and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm’s legal practice groups and regional offices. The Senior Legal Recruiting Coordinator supports the firm’s growth by ensuring high-quality candidate engagement, data accuracy, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with practice group leaders, hiring managers, legal professionals, external search firms, and strategic HR partners to execute lateral attorney hiring initiatives aligned with firm policies and compliance standards
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including drafting and posting job descriptions, maintaining applicant tracking system (ATS) entries (Workday, LawCruit, Greenhouse), coordinating interviews, and facilitating candidate communications
  • Conduct detailed candidate screening, reference and background checks, preliminary conflicts reviews, and facilitate onboarding documentation
  • Maintain and update accurate candidate records, recruiting pipelines, and reporting data within ATS platforms to support talent analytics and strategic decision-making
  • Drive sourcing efforts through market research, legal talent trend analysis, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Leopard Solutions, and Pirical Legal Professionals to identify qualified candidates
  • Oversee recruiting operations including interview scheduling, candidate expense reimbursements, agency/vendor agreements, invoice processing, and compliance documentation
  • Support special projects, operational improvements, and innovative sourcing strategies, including leveraging AI tools to optimize workflow efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, produce high-quality work products, and uphold confidentiality standards while managing multiple priorities


Core Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal recruiting experience within law firms or professional services organizations
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, LawCruit, or ViRecruit
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Experience utilizing legal recruiting and talent intelligence solutions (LinkedIn Recruiter, Leopard Solutions, Pirical Legal Professionals)
  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all professional levels
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of generative AI tools for recruiting process enhancements (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend hours during peak hiring cycles
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
