Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data & Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Financial Operations team. This role offers flexibility to be based in various locations, including major cities across the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance the company’s data warehouse, data management capabilities, and integration layers.
- Create new data models and reporting structures to support company-wide data initiatives.
- Implement solutions to unify data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence and dashboard tools.
- Collaborate with teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
- Work with business leaders and IT teams to provide insightful data analytics and reporting solutions.
- Ensure the quality of data through testing and continuous monitoring.
- Optimize data processes and address performance issues when necessary.
- Train end-users on the company's data reporting solutions and develop supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data management, including data engineering, data analytics, and data warehouse roles.
- Experience integrating third-party databases and working with ETL processes and dimensional data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in business intelligence platforms like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience with troubleshooting, optimizing data pipelines, and working with enterprise data management solutions.
- Experience working with specific enterprise-level software (such as Elite 3E) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and commitment to client satisfaction.
