Senior Bankruptcy Docketing Analyst

Job Description
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree required
-
Minimum of 7 years of experience with docketing and calendaring systems, preferably Compulaw
-
Strong familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules
-
In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy court procedures, including pleadings and client case actions
-
Proven ability to accurately interpret and apply court rules for calculating legal deadlines
-
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
-
Enter and maintain accurate case information in the electronic calendaring system
-
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the bankruptcy docketing calendar
-
Stay current on changes to court rules and procedures impacting bankruptcy matters
-
Calculate and input critical case events and deadlines
-
Proactively alert attorneys of all relevant upcoming deadlines and court dates
-
Organize and prioritize workload to meet time-sensitive requirements
-
Conduct strategic legal research to support accurate calendaring
-
Review incoming bankruptcy documents to monitor and identify relevant deadlines
-
Respond to inquiries from legal teams regarding scheduled events and applicable rules
-
Generate and distribute reports to assist attorneys and paralegals as needed
