Looking to fill a sales account manager position at a high energy, results oriented, highly competitive, well established and expanding mid-town Manhattan based telecommunications company specializing in distributed antenna systems (DAS), information technology systems (ITS), audio-visual and security systems, as well as structured cabling turn-key solutions (design, installation and support). A technical background in the DAS and ITS industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Present and sell company products and services to new prospective customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Set appointments and close sales
  • Input all client and prospect personal information in Salesforce
  • Maintain and grown new and existing clients
  • Track all client correspondence in Salesforce
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years previous experience in sales & customer service in the telecommunications/technology/IT infrastructure industries
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms - Salesforce
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to craft a well written email
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Previous sales experience in this or a similar industry
