Overview

This role is responsible for delivering hands-on and remote assistance to users, ensuring a smooth and efficient technology experience within the office. Adhering to established IT policies and procedures, this position plays a key role in maintaining system stability and performance.

This position is based in Houston and follows a hybrid work schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as an on-site and remote resource, providing technical support and guidance to end users.
  • Maintain system efficiency and ensure a seamless computing experience for employees.
  • Address and resolve technical support requests within predefined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Track and manage IT assets, maintaining an up-to-date inventory of office technology and equipment.
  • Assist with office relocations, technology upgrades, and new office setups.
  • Actively contribute ideas and recommendations for improving IT processes and systems, participating in the development and refinement of procedures.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and associated devices.
  • Travel as required.
  • Work in-office at least three days per week, with the possibility of additional days depending on workload.

 

Qualifications & Experience
  • At least three years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with software commonly used in legal environments, including Microsoft Office and NetDocuments.
  • Solid understanding of office networking fundamentals, along with hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving issues with network printers, multifunction printers (MFPs), and copiers.
  • Proficiency in supporting mobile devices, particularly iOS; experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions is a plus.
  • Proven ability to assist and train end users on technology-related topics.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
