Job Description
Overview
This role is responsible for delivering hands-on and remote assistance to users, ensuring a smooth and efficient technology experience within the office. Adhering to established IT policies and procedures, this position plays a key role in maintaining system stability and performance.
This position is based in Houston and follows a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an on-site and remote resource, providing technical support and guidance to end users.
- Maintain system efficiency and ensure a seamless computing experience for employees.
- Address and resolve technical support requests within predefined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Track and manage IT assets, maintaining an up-to-date inventory of office technology and equipment.
- Assist with office relocations, technology upgrades, and new office setups.
- Actively contribute ideas and recommendations for improving IT processes and systems, participating in the development and refinement of procedures.
- Install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, and associated devices.
- Travel as required.
- Work in-office at least three days per week, with the possibility of additional days depending on workload.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least three years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with software commonly used in legal environments, including Microsoft Office and NetDocuments.
- Solid understanding of office networking fundamentals, along with hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving issues with network printers, multifunction printers (MFPs), and copiers.
- Proficiency in supporting mobile devices, particularly iOS; experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions is a plus.
- Proven ability to assist and train end users on technology-related topics.
- A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
