Job Description
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:
As a key member of our team, you will utilize financial data to enhance profitability, mitigate risk, and optimize transaction costs. Your responsibilities will include generating fresh trading ideas, translating them into actionable systematic strategies, and rigorously evaluating their performance. Your insights will directly influence our trading operations and success on a global scale.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional academic record in math, statistics, physics, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and financial data analysis
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, C++, or similar
- Experience with data manipulation, algorithm development, and back-testing trading strategies
- Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques in financial modeling
- Knowledge of financial markets, trading platforms, and risk management systems
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud computing environments
- Prior exposure to high-frequency trading or algorithmic trading strategies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field is highly preferred
- Prior experience working in trading, investment firms, hedge funds, or related financial institutions is a plus
- Demonstrated success in developing and deploying quantitative trading models
