Portfolio Analytics Engineer – Vice President

As a Portfolio Analytics Engineer – Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems that translate cutting-edge research into actionable investment strategies. What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees preferred
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in Java
- Proven proficiency in Python within production or research environments
- Extensive experience building and managing distributed systems
- Strong background in microservices architecture, including tools such as search engines, caching, messaging queues, and relational databases
- Solid understanding of engineering best practices—testing, code quality, documentation
- Hands-on experience tuning and optimizing high-performance systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools and performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, manage complexity, and collaborate across teams
- An interest in financial markets is a plus
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within financial services or investment domains
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Over 7 years of progressively responsible software engineering roles
- Prior experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects
