Job Description

Leads support staff with teamwork, efficiency, and firm-minded actions.

Oversees LAA workloads, delegating tasks to ensure timely completion.

Interprets and communicates company policies and office procedures.

Assists in resolving work issues and motivates staff toward goals.

Maintains support staff time records to ensure proper coverage.
-
Acts as a contact point for attorneys when their LAA is unavailable.

Coordinates lunch schedules for adequate office coverage.
-
Assists in hiring, onboarding, and training support staff.
-
Manages file systems and off-site storage transitions.
-
Helps organize firm-sponsored events and other administrative tasks.
-
Prepares exhibits, appendices, and documents for legal proceedings.
-
Sets up and manages war rooms for trials/arbitrations.
-
Attends and assists with depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
-
Drafts legal documents, subpoenas, and correspondence.
-
Conducts research, monitors proceedings, and locates witnesses.
-
Supports due diligence efforts and documents research findings.
-
Coordinates with attorneys, litigation support, IT, and office services.
-
Stays updated on procedural rules, e-filing, and e-discovery processes.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
-
2–4 years of management experience (law firm management preferred).

3–5 years of law firm experience required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iManage document management.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines.

Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and staff.

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and retrieving items from shelves up to 8 feet high.
-
Flexibility to work irregular hours, occasionally exceeding 40 hours per week. Reliable and adaptable.
