Job Description
Seeking a Network Engineer to join our Technology-Infrastructure team, reporting to the Network Engineering Team Lead. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in data, voice, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage firewalls, routers, Ethernet, and SAN switches.
- Monitor Palo Alto firewalls, review logs, and troubleshoot connectivity.
- Administer Cisco Call Manager and related applications, including Webex integration.
- Troubleshoot LAN, VoIP, and circuit connectivity issues.
- Perform off-hours equipment installations and upgrades.
- Manage other voice, network, and security systems.
- Communicate with IT staff and end-users to resolve issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Cisco and Palo Alto network technologies.
- Experience with Telco installations and circuit troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and vendor support experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with end-users.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and manage time effectively.
- (Preferred) Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine, Multi-Factor Authentication, SAML, Mobile Device Management, and AWS.
- (Preferred) Understanding of network integration with IT systems.
- (Preferred) Previous experience in an MSP or Financial Firm.
