Job Description


Seeking a Network Engineer to join our Technology-Infrastructure team, reporting to the Network Engineering Team Lead. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in data, voice, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage firewalls, routers, Ethernet, and SAN switches.
  • Monitor Palo Alto firewalls, review logs, and troubleshoot connectivity.
  • Administer Cisco Call Manager and related applications, including Webex integration.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, VoIP, and circuit connectivity issues.
  • Perform off-hours equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Manage other voice, network, and security systems.
  • Communicate with IT staff and end-users to resolve issues.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Cisco and Palo Alto network technologies.
  • Experience with Telco installations and circuit troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and vendor support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with end-users.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to independently solve problems and manage time effectively.
  • (Preferred) Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine, Multi-Factor Authentication, SAML, Mobile Device Management, and AWS.
  • (Preferred) Understanding of network integration with IT systems.
  • (Preferred) Previous experience in an MSP or Financial Firm.

Our current work setup includes a hybrid model: employees commute to the office Monday through Thursday, with remote work options on Fridays. Some off-hours work may be required for equipment installations and upgrades.
