Job Description

Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level Motions and Appeals Attorney with experience in substantive motion practice and appeals to join their team in Melville, New York fighting for justice for survivors of sexual abuse. Skills/Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation is required. Salary offers within the posted range are directly commensurate with experience.
Experience representing plaintiffs in injury matters is preferred, however, attorneys with experience in the litigation of liability, such as insurance defense, will also be considered.
Admission to federal court preferred; willingness to become admitted if hired is required.
This position will involve significant research and writing in connection with motions and appeals before state and federal courts.
Attorney will be responsible for drafting and responding to substantive motions including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment, as well as assisting with related appeals.
Growth and opportunity for advancement within the office is expected.
