Job Description
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of three support engineers.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Manage relationships with managed service providers for remote offices.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT support requests.
- Manage installation, inventory, and maintenance of workstations.
- Act as senior escalation point for complex issues.
Strategic Planning:
- Prepare monthly reports for senior management.
- Lead project management, strategic planning, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years experience in workstation technical support; management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Financial Services industry experience required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11, Office 365, and market data applications (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Familiarity with desktop management policies, procedures, and software.
- Desired experience in printer management and Mobile Device Management (iOS/Android).
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid work arrangement; full vaccination required for office attendance Monday through Thursday, with remote work optional on Fridays.
