Job Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Bergen County NJ!
Responsibilities:

Demonstrate expertise in legal filings, brief preparation, and cite-checking using Bluebook standards; consistently apply best practices for accurate citation in legal documents and memoranda.

Handle federal electronic filings with accuracy and efficiency.

Conduct factual research using electronic databases and coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary.

Support trial preparation by organizing trial binders, managing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and maintaining trial calendars and deadlines.

Download data from external sites and save documents using established naming protocols.

Proofread legal documents, including briefs, to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Draft routine correspondence and internal memoranda.

Maintain and update document databases and case files.

Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program strongly preferred.

8–10 years of complex litigation experience in a law firm setting preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows-based systems.

Experience with e-filing systems and litigation support tools such as Relativity, Lexis, and Westlaw.

Strong computer literacy and internet research skills, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
