Litigation Paralegal

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare legal documents including standard pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery materials; ensure timely filing in compliance with court procedures.

Assist attorneys with the organization and maintenance of case files, including document management systems and electronic records.

Conduct legal research and review statutes, regulations, court decisions, and secondary sources; summarize findings in written format for attorney review.

Coordinate routine correspondence and communications with clients and third parties.

Support attorneys with trial preparation, including creating exhibit binders, witness lists, and managing courtroom logistics.
Qualifications and Experience:

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Completion of a paralegal studies program approved by the ABA is preferred.

Minimum of four years of relevant paralegal experience, preferably in a litigation setting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and case priorities effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Some exposure to transactional matters (real estate or corporate) and environmental/regulatory legal work is a plus.
