Job Description
Office Administrator or Managing Partner.
Responsibilities
• Administrative support to four (4) Attorneys
• Draft, revise and finalize documents and letters
• Process Attorney / Paralegal time entry and work with Billing Coordinator to create, finalize and send client bills
• Responsible for client correspondence preparation and delivery (i.e., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
• Client document filing management
• Coordinate meetings and maintain Attorney calendars
• Witness or notarize client documents and signings
• Electronically file in courts (Bankruptcy / Federal / State)
• Available to work overtime when requested
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Degree in business administration preferred
• Knowledge of Connecticut courts, judicial procedures, e-portal and CSC e-recording
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, iManage, Olympus, Aderant, GEMS Westlaw, Lexis
Nexis and ChromeRiver (preferred, but will train)
• Organization and attention to detail is critical
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to manage time, prioritize and multitask effectively
Compensation
• $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

• Litigation, Legal Secretary is a non-exempt role and eligible for overtime
• Paid Time Off (PTO) of twenty-five (25) days per calendar year
• Thirty-five (35) hour work week
On site position Mon-Fri (end of day is usually busy so a 5:30 PM end time would be ideal)
