Job Description
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team in Irvine, CA!
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, proofread, and finalize a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.

Electronically file legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring adherence to all filing requirements and deadlines.

Serve as a key liaison for clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and external vendors.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, accurately relaying messages to attorneys in a timely manner.

Manage and maintain attorneys’ calendars, scheduling hearings, depositions, client meetings, and critical deadlines.

Coordinate and confirm appointments with clients, witnesses, and court reporters.

Prepare and submit expense reports and assist with time entry and billing processes.

Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.

Provide general administrative support and handle additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a litigation legal assistant, preferably in a mid-size to large law firm.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with document management systems (e.g., iManage).

Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
