Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking a Legal Secretary - Litigation, to join their team in Austin! 

Legal Administrative Support Summary
Provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of a case, from inception to resolution or trial.
  • Case & Document Management: Organize, review, and manage case documents, ensuring efficient handling of filings, exhibits, and depositions.
  • Court Filings & Research: Assist with court filings, ensuring proper citation and formatting, and conduct basic legal research as needed.
  • Client & Attorney Support: Maintain professional client relationships, coordinate billing processes, and assist attorneys with scheduling, timekeeping, and document preparation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, arrange meetings and travel, process expenses, and support marketing efforts when needed.
  • Firm Compliance & Team Collaboration: Uphold confidentiality, adhere to firm policies, and contribute to departmental initiatives to improve workflow and efficiency.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of recent legal or administrative secretarial experience, preferably in a large law firm.
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external interactions.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software, including MS Office Suite and legal databases.
  • Typing speed of 70 wpm with high accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork mindset with a commitment to client service.
