Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to join their team in Florham Park, NJ!
Position Summary
The Legal Billing Specialist plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring invoices are accurate, aligned with client billing requirements, and submitted promptly. This position requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and clear communication to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Review and edit prebills using Prebill Viewer and Aderant in response to attorney instructions.

Prepare and generate a high volume of complex client invoices through Aderant.

Ensure all invoices adhere to client billing guidelines and include the necessary supporting documentation prior to submission.

Submit electronic bills via E-Billing Hub, ensuring all supporting documents are attached.

Monitor and promptly address invoice rejections, reductions, and appeals.

Respond to client and internal billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Assist with special projects and generate ad hoc reports as requested.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field—or equivalent work experience.

At least 5 years of legal billing experience required.
Technology
-
Experience with Aderant or Elite/3E, Prebill Viewer, E-Billing Hub, and BillBlast preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
