Job Description

Lead Automation Test Strategy:
Develop and execute automation test strategies, ensuring high test coverage for critical application features across various platforms and environments.

Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing guidance on test strategies, automation tools, and best practices. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team productivity and skill development.

Test Automation Frameworks:
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.) to support continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.

Test Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with the QA team and developers to define test requirements and implement automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.

Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate new testing tools and techniques, and integrate them into the testing process to improve efficiency and coverage. Propose improvements to existing test automation processes.

Test Results & Reporting:
Analyze test results and generate detailed reports on the success/failure of automated test cases. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and track issues to closure.

Collaboration:
Work closely with product owners, developers, and other QA members to ensure thorough testing of software applications in alignment with business goals and technical requirements.

CI/CD Integration:
Implement and maintain automation test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines to ensure early detection of issues and faster release cycles.

Mentorship:
Train and guide junior team members in best practices, test automation tools, and techniques. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge to excel in test automation.
