Summary
Working on Construction site, the individual will provide administrative support to the Compliance Department through the execution of various assigned tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain project specific tracking logs
  • Create and maintain various Excel schedules for calculating wage, fringe benefits and average rates
  • Assist in the review of Union rate calculations submitted by Subcontractors
  • Maintain compliance department files; file daily logs, certified payrolls, and subcontractor forms
  • Create project specific reports utilizing compliance software
  • Monitor submittal of weekly certified payroll; obtain outstanding payroll reports with subcontractors
  • Distribute required forms to site workers and ensure proper routing
  • Maintain subcontractors’ pre-award certificates; track renewals and ensure they are in good standing
  • Track and follow-up with subcontractors regarding proper compliance documentation based on awarded contracts and requirements
  • Assist with various adjunct compliance projects and trainings as needed
  • Adhere to various annual/quarterly agency reporting requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in an administrative, payroll or accounting role, preferably in compliance within the construction industry
  • Must have an Associate' s or Bachelor' s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Able to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to travel within the 5 boroughs, required
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of union regulations and prevailing wage guidelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook) and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of LCPtracker, preferred
