Junior Fiduciary Accountant
Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Draft probate documents
• Compile federal and state estate income tax filings
• Complete federal and state fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates
• Establish and manage estate and trust accounts
• Catalog, assess, and gather assets
• Oversight of checking accounts, including payment of invoices, monitoring balances, and maintaining financial records
• Generate balance sheets and cash requirement memoranda
• Facilitate the distribution of assets to beneficiaries
• Engage in effective communication (both verbal and written) with clients, Attorneys, executors, trustees, and financial institutions regarding estate and trust affairs
• Undertake administrative duties associated with executing responsibilities, such as filing, copying, scanning, and mailing
Qualifications
• Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Excel and Outlook
