IT Technology Coach
Position Overview: This essential position requires five days in-office. The IT Technology Coach provides a superior level of expertise around a multitude of applications and technology in use throughout the firm. This role offers expert-level, white-glove technical support and instruction to lawyers and staff, prioritizing understanding their needs and workflows to enhance efficiency and client service. Expert technical and customer service skills are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personalized Support: Offer high-touch support and coaching to lawyers and staff on firm applications, mobile devices, and IT security best practices.
- Process Improvement: Understand business processes to enhance efficiency and provide instruction and support.
- Collaboration: Work with team members to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
- Continual Learning: Stay updated with professional training and share knowledge with the team.
- Documentation and Communication: Keep thorough records of support interactions and communicate clearly with users about progress and issues.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide advanced support for various technologies including PCs, printers, mobile devices, and more.
- Security Adherence: Maintain and promote information security policies and procedures.
- AV Support: Handle audio/visual needs (except in Seattle).
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in a law firm providing hardware and software support, with some experience in technical training preferred.
- Skills: Expert in desktop, laptop, mobile device support, and Microsoft 365/Office Suite. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills required.
- Education: GED/High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. A+ Certification is a plus.
