Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Identifying enhancements for the information management framework, leveraging expertise in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Advising internal stakeholders on appropriate data storage solutions, serving as a subject matter expert on information management and providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Managing all aspects of data governance workflows, including document intake, release, retention, destruction, and access requests while ensuring adherence to company policies.

Implementing and enforcing records retention protocols, maintaining accurate records of document lifecycles, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Organizing and maintaining secure storage solutions, preparing and processing documents within digital and physical repositories.

Safeguarding sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information by applying rigorous security protocols and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

A strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles, along with expertise in best practices for records and document management.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with various teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in organizing and maintaining structured data environments, ensuring efficient file management across digital and physical platforms.
Preferred Background:
-
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data governance, records management, or a similar field may substitute for a degree.

At least five 3 years of experience in data governance, records management, or information administration, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.

Hands-on experience with records management systems and enterprise software applications such as iManage DeskSite, iManage Records Manager, Microsoft Office Suite, Prosperoware, Nuix Investigate/Discover, Beyond Compare, 7-Zip, ServiceNow, Zoom, and Asana.

Prior experience handling document organization responsibilities within a legal or compliance-driven environment is highly desirable.
