Job Description


Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying enhancements for the information management framework, leveraging expertise in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

  • Advising internal stakeholders on appropriate data storage solutions, serving as a subject matter expert on information management and providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

  • Managing all aspects of data governance workflows, including document intake, release, retention, destruction, and access requests while ensuring adherence to company policies.

  • Implementing and enforcing records retention protocols, maintaining accurate records of document lifecycles, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Organizing and maintaining secure storage solutions, preparing and processing documents within digital and physical repositories.

  • Safeguarding sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information by applying rigorous security protocols and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles, along with expertise in best practices for records and document management.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with various teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in organizing and maintaining structured data environments, ensuring efficient file management across digital and physical platforms.

Preferred Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data governance, records management, or a similar field may substitute for a degree.

  • At least five 3 years of experience in data governance, records management, or information administration, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.

  • Hands-on experience with records management systems and enterprise software applications such as iManage DeskSite, iManage Records Manager, Microsoft Office Suite, Prosperoware, Nuix Investigate/Discover, Beyond Compare, 7-Zip, ServiceNow, Zoom, and Asana.

  • Prior experience handling document organization responsibilities within a legal or compliance-driven environment is highly desirable.
