Job Title: Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency across multiple locations. This role involves working with a range of hardware, virtualization platforms, networking equipment, and security tools to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Hardware & Data Center Operations:
-
Deploy and maintain enterprise-grade server hardware, including high-performance blade chassis and rack-mounted systems.

Oversee power distribution, HVAC, and backup power systems to ensure optimal data center functionality.

Perform system upgrades, including component replacements and processor enhancements.

Virtualization & OS Management:
-
Administer and configure Windows Server environments (various versions), along with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.

Manage virtualized clusters, optimize system performance, and resolve hypervisor-related issues.

Utilize centralized management tools for efficient VM provisioning and monitoring.

Network & Security Administration:

Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and security appliances.

Implement and support network connectivity for data centers, ensuring secure and stable operations.

Handle network protocols and services, including static IP assignments and multi-protocol support.

Storage & Data Management:

Deploy and maintain enterprise storage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Oversee file server configurations and execute data migrations from legacy systems.
-
Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to maintain business continuity.

Directory & Access Management:

Configure and maintain directory services, managing user authentication, group policies, and domain security settings.

Execute migrations and upgrades for directory services while ensuring seamless operations.
-
Manage role-based access controls and security policies for enterprise environments.

Security & Compliance:
-
Implement and manage security protocols, including SSL certificate deployment and firewall configurations.

Ensure compliance with industry security standards and corporate policies.
-
Conduct ongoing monitoring and risk assessments to maintain a secure IT environment.

Application & Endpoint Support:

Deploy and manage remote desktop services and enterprise productivity applications.

Set up and maintain virtual desktops and application servers for business-critical operations.
-
Implement remote monitoring tools to oversee system health and performance.

Troubleshooting & Escalation:
-
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
-
Work with vendors and AI-based tools to research and apply effective solutions.

Provide technical leadership and escalation support to IT teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications:
-
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
-
5+ years managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure.

Proficiency in Windows Server, virtualization platforms, networking hardware, and security tools.

Experience with directory services, security compliance, and automation tools is a plus.
-
Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
