Description
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Fivetran, AWS Glue, and Apache Iceberg to support real-time and batch data flows
- Implement transformation logic and orchestration workflows to support business-critical integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Manage and monitor Fivetran connectors, AWS Glue jobs, and Iceberg table configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for data integration issues, including troubleshooting Fivetran sync failures, Glue job errors, and Iceberg table inconsistencies.
- Monitor pipeline health and proactively address latency, throughput, and data quality concerns.
- Support onboarding of new data sources and assist teams in leveraging data products effectively.
- Document operational procedures and provide training to internal stakeholders on integration tools and workflows
- Document integration processes, data flows, and architectural decisions.
- Maintain metadata catalogs and lineage tracking for all data products and integration assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or integration roles.
- Proven expertise with Fivetran, including connector configuration, transformation logic, and monitoring.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, and IAM.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloging tools.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
