Job Description

Our client, a global law firm, is seeking an Operations Specialist to support their Information Systems Department! 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Install and configure servers, network devices, and telecommunications devices, ensuring compliance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Conduct daily system monitoring, ensuring the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and processes.
  • Address and recover from hardware or software failures, coordinating communication to affected parties.
  • Regularly apply operating system patches, device firmware patches, and system upgrades.
  • Upgrade and configure system software, maintaining operational procedures.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization, including configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions.
  • Manage data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to support departments, reviewing systems, processes, and workflow tools periodically.
  • Provide general oversight for special projects aimed at enhancing office productivity and efficiency, ranging from conceptualization to implementation.
