IP Legal Admin Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IP Legal Admin Assistant to support our Intellectual Property (IP) team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the smooth operation of IP matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation, filing, and management of patent and trademark applications.
- Maintain and update IP databases and case management systems.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of filings.
- Coordinate communications with clients, outside counsel, and government agencies.
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and handle travel arrangements for the IP team.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as file organization and invoice processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in IP law or a legal setting.
- Familiarity with IP filing systems (USPTO, WIPO) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
