IP Docketing Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented IP Docketing Administrator to manage and maintain the intellectual property (IP) docketing system. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with deadlines and proper handling of IP filings, including patents and trademarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update deadlines and filings in the IP docketing system.
- Monitor and manage due dates for patents, trademarks, and other IP-related matters.
- Review incoming correspondence (e.g., USPTO, WIPO) and update records accordingly.
- Generate and distribute docket reports to attorneys and staff.
- Ensure compliance with IP filing requirements and deadlines.
- Assist with audits of docketing records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to address docketing inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IP law or administration.
- 2+ years of experience in IP docketing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in IP docketing systems (e.g., CPI, FoundationIP, Anaqua).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on detail.
- Knowledge of USPTO, WIPO, and other IP filing systems and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
