Job Description

Our client is seeking a mid-level .NET software developer looking for a start in financial technology. Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, diligence and attention to detail are the keys for success in this position. Ample guidance, training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust, efficient, and elegant solutions to meet functional requirements. This might involve multiple languages and technologies. C#/.NET is the primary platform, but C++, SQL, Python and VBA for MS-Excel are also employed.
Work closely with the Core Technology and Quantitative Research teams to ensure optimal integration of financial models into comprehensive software products, and to resolve complex technical issues.
Work closely with QA and Client Services to ensure that products are properly tested, documented, and supported.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

4-year Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Computer Science (or other STEM major with relevant experience)
2+ years of experience in application development
Good C#, C++ or Java skills
Good written / verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

Prior experience in Financial Derivatives Pricing and Risk Management.
Experience with cloud technologies
understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL programming.
